Year 3 is marking a new beginning in our learning journey...more online classes! Here's a list of online offerings that have caught my eye so far. Online learning is still a relatively new venture for us however, so please excuse any assumptions I may be making that you think to be untrue. Hope to be frequently updating this list so check back often!

100 Essential Web Tools - I'm not a fan of all the links mentioned in this list, but I sure am grateful for it. Everything from how-to-organize to subject-specific tools have been listed here. Great to browse on a Friday night with nothing else to do.
50 Inspiring TED Talks - we love TED! Especially when my stress level is high and the kiddo's constant chatter drives the irritation level up a couple more notches LOL. Seriously though, we love the 20-minute odd talks because they offer a lot of food for thought.
Potted Learning Pages - you will honestly be floored by the choices!
Summer Institute for the Gifted - resources for teachers, parents and students. The student pages feature some pretty neat options.
Thinkquest - a library of projects and resources by students for students

Bookmarks (High School/AP/College)

Academic Earth - features online courses from some of the best unis on Earth.
Brightstorm - great video-based math and science courses for the older student.
Brown's PreCollege Courses - not free or cheap but very tempting!
HippoCampus - free, interactive online textbooks.
MIT Open Courseware - love this site for its myriad offerings and also the following:

CTD Northwestern's GLL - Gifted Learning Links offers creatively-designed online learning courses for gifted students. Again, not cheap. But if you have the means, it could be fun to try something different now and then. Others in a similar category:
